How to make t-shirt yarn wrapped bracelets

Materials:

• Bracelets.
• T-shirt yarn.
• Scissors.
• Glue (optional).

Step by step:

This is an excellent idea to reuse bracelets that you had already forgotten and it’s also ideal for decorating plastic bracelets (yes, those same ones that are sold in party favors) to create new pieces of jewelry.

Start by tying -without squeezing hard- one of the ends of the t-shirt yarn strip to the bracelet.

Then, wrap the fabric around the entire bracelet. You can wrap as many layers of fabric as you like so you can create a more or less thick bracelet.

Wrap the entire bracelet until you run into the initial knot again, undo it and join the free ends with a strong double knot (make sure that the knot is on the inside of the bracelet).

Cut off the excess fabric. If you wish, you can apply a dab of glue to secure the knot.

Have fun combining yarn colors and create different designs.
