It’s common that when we go out for a run we get a runny nose and our face begin to sweat. Logically we can’t stop on the way to get a towel… So what better than to have something that allows us to solve this problem immediately without stopping the rhythm? Thinking of those who don’t want to stop moving, today we bring a special accessory for runners made with fabric.
In Restitchyarn’s blog they call it the “nose cleaner” (for an obvious function), although we could say that it’s a kind of cotton wristband to dry perspiration or any annoying secretion from our face while we do sports in just a second.
Doing this project is easy and inexpensive, since we only need 10 meters of fabric yarn of the color we want and a double pointed crochet needle, No. 10.
Super easy pattern
Now we’ll see how to make the wristband. You’ll see that in less than 30 minutes you’ll have a new accessory in your sports arsenal!
1.Cast 24 stitches.
2.Join them and knit another round.
3.For two consecutive rounds knit 2 stitches and purl 2 stitches.
4.Knit 1 stitch in 4 consecutive rounds.
5.Repeat the 3rd step for two consecutive.
6.Insert the needle into the stitch as if you were knitting and sew the ends of the strip, joining them to create the wristband.
It’s that easy: we can go for a run in peace. And we did everything with yarn and the desire to create.
