Braided headbands

I like to have my hair pulled back and lately I’ve been having fun making my own braided headbands. They are very easy to make and look very cute.

Braided headbands

Start with a blank headband or whatever you can use to cover up.

Take a t-shirt or any kind of fabric you have at home (to recyle) and cut into strips a little longer than the headband, then, make a braid. I used a thin, stretchy weave fabric.

Use glue or hot glue to wrap a strip of the same fabric around the headband.

Glue the braid to the top of the band.

You can use almost any type of fabric: fiber, lace, ribbons, T-shirt yarn, etc. to make the braid.

And even combine the materials.
