Step by step:
Cut several strips of t-shirt yarn, the amount will depend on the size of the dress. The idea is to assemble the “flowers” on the dress so you can use strips of different lengths to make various sizes of these figures.
Ideally you should use a cotton dress or another kind of fabric that stretches a little bit, because as you sew you’ll need the base (dress) to be a little elastic.
To make the flowers you must make a spiral with each strip of fabric. Start wrapping from the center, sew the strip down the center (this will give it some volume). Repeat this step until you have decorated the entire dress.
